Individual Therapy

Individual therapy provides the opportunity to better understand and address what influences our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. At times, people internalize beliefs that don’t accurately reflect who they are, and/or develop coping mechanisms that don’t serve them. Together, we will explore how your past experiences may contribute to the present challenges you’re facing, foster coping mechanisms that align with your needs and goals, and ultimately create a life that feels most connected to your authentic self. 

 

I often work with individuals who: 

 

  • Struggle with overthinking.

  • Become easily overwhelmed and/or stressed.

  • Are highly ambitious, but find that perfectionism or self-criticism gets in the way.

  • Feel deeply and care/connect strongly with others, but have difficulty speaking up or trusting their own needs or feelings without judgement. 

  • Experience feelings of anxiety, depression, chronic stress and/or relationship issues and find that coping strategies are no longer working. 

  • Have experienced trauma and/or have symptoms of trauma that manifest in the body. 

  • Struggle with addiction or have/had a loved one who has experienced addiction.
