Individual Therapy

Psychotherapy is an opportunity to develop a greater sense of self understanding, self-acceptance and personal meaning.  It provides the space to better understand the various environmental, familial, personal, cultural and social factors that can influence our thoughts, emotions and actions.

Together, we will explore how your past and current experiences may contribute to the present challenges you are facing; foster coping mechanisms that align with your current needs, wants and goals; and work towards ultimately creating a life that feels empowering and most connected to your authentic self, and others along the way.

I often work with individuals who:

  • Struggle with overthinking.

  • Become easily overwhelmed and/or stressed.

  • Are highly ambitious, but find that perfectionism or self-criticism gets in the way.

  • Feel deeply and care/connect strongly with others, but have difficulty speaking up or trusting their own needs or feelings without judgement.

  • Experience feelings of anxiety, depression, chronic stress and/or relationship issues and find that coping strategies are no longer working.

  • Have experienced trauma and/or have symptoms of trauma that manifest in the body.

  • Struggle with addiction or have/had a loved one who has experienced addiction.
