Couple Therapy
The relationship with your partner can be one of the most rewarding parts of life; maintaining harmony often requires commitment, communication and compromise. Though a challenging occurence or change in a relationship often encourages the start of couples therapy, a relationship also does not need to be experiencing a crisis in order for therapy to be beneficial. It is understandable that everyday pressures can contribute to stressors in a relationship and that having a dedicated place allows individuals to see each other's perspectives, connect, work towards shared goals, and establish unique and necessary tools.

I often work with couples who:

-
Find themselves arguing more frequently.
-
Are experiencing or exploring a potential transition in the relationship, including moving in together, getting engaged/married, expanding a family.
-
Struggle with communication, including expressing feelings safely and effectively.
-
Have difficulty or are not aligned with their life sex life/intimacy.
-
Experience complications regarding relatives/in-laws or friends.
-
Have differences in beliefs, values, goals and/or decision-making.
-
Are discussing a separation or divorce.
-
Have experienced a betrayal or trauma in the relationship and are looking to work through feelings, possible repercussions and/or restore trust.
